28 Wineries with Outdoor Activities

Missouri is a breathtaking state full of outdoor enthusiasts. It’s also home to more than 130 wineries, most of which offer gorgeous outdoor seating areas. If you’re looking for a relaxing day of soaking in the sunshine while you sip on delicious wine, you won’t have to look far. If you’re looking for a more active Missouri wine adventure, here are several wineries offering outdoor activities to go along with their locally crafted wines.

Hiking, Biking and Walking Trails:

  • 7Cs Winery in Walnut Grove is located near the crossroads of the Trans American Bike Trail (US76) and the Frisco Highline Trail. They also offer camping accommodations.
  • Augusta Winery is right off the Katy Trail in Augusta. The Katy trail is a fan favorite with cyclists. There are several wineries along the trail.
  • Chaumette Vineyards in Ste. Genevieve offers access to several trails. One of which leads to another area winery, Charleville Vineyard Winery and Brewery. Chaumette Vineyard also has lakes onsite where you can fish and participate in geocaching.
  • Edg-Clif Winery in Potosi is located on a century farm and has a 1.5 mile trail into their property where visitors can experience a native pine forest and spring fed stream. It’s also only 20 minutes from the Berryman Trail.
  • Jowler Creek Winery in Platte City offers a walking eco-tour of their sustainable winemaking practices… don’t miss the Babydoll sheep.
  • Keltoi Vineyards in Oronogo is a great place to get away and has hiking access for some much needed nature time.

  • Riverwood Winery in Rushville features a Butterfly and Pollinator Trail
  • Rolling Meadows Vineyards in Warrenton has cleared a trail for strolling to the back of their property where there is a scenic lake view and wooded area.
  • Van Till Family Farm Winery in Rayville has garden paths with water features that are great for a serene stroll.
  • Wenwood Farm Winery is quite remote in Bland, but its location is perfect for a hike through the woods.

Camping:

  • 7Cs Winery offers camping onsite with amenities such as an outdoor shower and BBQ grills.
  • Arcadian Moon Winery & Brewery has two 54 amp RV hook-ups on the property available for rent.
  • Cave Hollow West Winery is located on the grounds of the Mark Twain Cave Complex in Hannibal. The complex includes a full-service campground and two historic caves open for tours.
  • Wenwood Farm Winery offers onsite camping through Harvest Hosts.
