When many of us think about traveling to Eminence, Missouri, the first thing that comes to mind is summertime floating down a beautiful clear Ozark river or taking a horseback trail ride through the rugged Ozark forests.
Recently, I was fortunate enough to spend time in the area experiencing fantastic smallmouth bass fishing, hiking in to view amazing natural springs, and learning about the extensive work of the Missouri Department of Conservation on Elk Restoration.
This year-around destination is not limited to a summer trail ride or canoe float. It is a diverse area with wonderful and friendly people ready to ensure you have great outdoor adventures.
You can follow the Eminence Chamber of Commerce on Facebook.
