It’s finally starting to feel like fall here in Cape Girardeau! Savor everything this lovely season has to offer with An Afternoon and Evening of Ghost Storytelling on Saturday, Oct. 13. This unique event showcases the oldest art form around – storytelling – in a fun, eerie setting at the Donald C. Bedell Performance Hall at Southeast Missouri State University’s River Campus.
For the very first time, Southeast Missouri State University and the Cape Girardeau Convention and Visitors Bureau are teaming up to bring two of the very best storytellers in the business, Megan Hicks and Brian “Fox” Ellis, to Cape Girardeau. These renowned storytellers have been fine-tuning their scariest tales to bring you an engaging day of chilling stories.
Performances will take place at 2 p.m. and at 7 p.m., and each show will feature unique content. That means you can make a day or a weekend out of it while enjoying a variety of spooky stories in Cape Girardeau; note there is two-show discount available.
Go to RiverCampusEvents.com to buy your tickets, or call the box office at 573-651-2265.
CapeStorytelling.com has additional information on the event and the tellers, and you can call the Convention and Visitors Bureau at 573-335-1631 if you have any questions.
