The Eagleville Missouri Welcome Center will be celebrating Missouri Day on Wednesday, October 16. Missouri Day is a time to celebrate the achievements of all Missourians. This year we will be promoting art in Missouri, by welcoming local artists Peggy and Dennis Hansen. Peggy specializes in jewelry and glass work, and Dennis creates pottery. They will be arriving between 9 and 10 am on Wednesday morning, and will be displaying some of their art pieces until 5 pm. Their work will not be for sale at the Center, but anyone is welcome to visit the Hodge Podge shop in downtown Bethany, and see other artwork by the Hansens, as well as many other local artists and craftspeople.
We will be serving cookies, coffee and lemonade, and giving away Missouri wine books (because Missouri art and Missouri wine go well together!)
Come enjoy some Missouri hospitality, treats and artistry on Missouri Day this Wednesday. Also enjoy the Eagleville Welcome Center’s artwork, including the 500 square foot glass mosaic mural, and the eight-foot-tall steel bison silhouettes.
