Go for an invigorating bike ride or walk along the Katy Trail. Visitors will enjoy the peaceful surroundings while taking in the splendor of Missouri’s natural habitats coming alive with color.

Craving more time in the great outdoors? Check out Runge Nature Center where visitors can explore more than two miles of hiking trails along with a 60-foot fire tower offering climbers astonishing panoramic views of the area’s dramatic rolling landscape.

Fall wouldn’t be complete without visiting a pumpkin patch. Fischer Farms Corn Maze and Pumpkin Patch offers 40 plus acres of festivities. Bundle up for a hayride, get lost in the giant corn box, pet farm animals and choose from fresh produce including pumpkins of all shapes and sizes. Stroll through their famous corn maze featuring a new design each season!

The 6th Annual Missouri American Water Race to the Dome on Oct. 17 offers visitors the chance to enjoy gorgeous river views while cheering on participants. This charity canoe/kayak race allows the perfect opportunity for novice paddlers to gain experience while enjoying the beauty of the Missouri River.
