Blue Jay Farm, nestled in a scenic valley of the timeless Ozark Mountains, is the definition of “escape.” Inspiring visitors for more than 75 years, this retreat beckons you and your family to relax and get back to nature. The seven-acre, spring-fed lake coaxes you to grab a rod and reel and to paddle its surface in a kayak or canoe. Hiking trails invite unhurried exploration of the hills and the cave is alluring and almost mysterious.
The farm has five cabin choices; each unique, and all authentic Ozark experiences. The Rock House is partially constructed of native stone. The upstairs features two air-conditioned sleeping rooms. The stone fireplace in the Old Log Cabin entices couples to rekindle romance tucked away in a tree house atmosphere. The angler will love the First Cabin with its two-story deck. You can fish the lake from the lower level! The Kitchen Cabin is a one-room log cabin with a full kitchen and wraparound porch and is a gathering place for retreat guests. The Goodman Cabin Bed & Breakfast is a secluded two-story log cabin with three bedrooms and a screened-in porch and patio.
Blue Jay Farm proudly features food items from local farmers. Enjoy Beyond Organic™ Butter and homemade preserves, local country fresh eggs and Susie’s signature pumpkin bread. Choose the Goodman cabin for continental breakfast with homemade quiche.
Friendly pets are welcome at Blue Jay Farm.
In addition to on-site barbecues and kitchen, Di Trapani’s Italian Bistro is less than eight miles away from Blue Jay Farm, near Portuguese Point. Featured in Feast Magazine, Di Trapani’s has become a destination for their stunning Gasconade River views and exquisite dining.
