Best of Show: Have a Relaxing Fall Getaway on the Katy Trail

The Katy Trail, in all of its 237.7-mile glory stretching across the state of Missouri (from Clinton to St. Charles), is quite a sight to see. In fact, it’s so breathtaking, the Travel Channel included it among the top 15 Relaxing Fall Getaways in the United States.

Whether you are biking, hiking or just going for a walk, you can rest assured you can do just that – relax and explore. If taking in the majestic beauty while doing any of these activities is overwhelming, you have quite a few options to rest indoors.

According to BikeKatyTrail.com, there are more than 75 B & Bs readily available to people traveling along the trail.  These establishments pride themselves offering exceptional service to those who need rest and recuperation.

Visitors find there are B & Bs that are child-friendly and no-smoking. Some offer flexible breakfast times as well as accommodations for well-behaved family pets. Others provide laundry services for extended-stays, shuttles and free Wi-Fi.

The Missouri Division of Tourism congratulates the Katy Trail and the B & Bs for helping visitors remain relaxed while exploring the sights and enjoying the show. Go to VisitMO.com for more information.
