Want a real thrill this Halloween? Mining engineering students at Missouri University of Science and Technology transform the University’s Experimental Underground Mine into hallways of bone chilling, frightening fun. This annual tradition has been declared a favorite among visitors. Enter the Haunted Mine if you dare! The Haunted Mine is open Oct. 31, 5:00-10:00 p.m. Cost is $10 for adults and $8 for kids under 10 and Military (valid ID). There is $2 discount if you bring 3 canned goods per person to be donated to Russell House.
To ease into the holiday shopping season, the Rolla Chamber invites you to join them for a city-wide shopping extravaganza, Rolla Unwrapped, November 9. More than 40 merchants invite you to visit their shops to get a jump on your holiday shopping while enjoying holiday decorations, sales and activities.
As part of the Rolla Unwrapped event, the Rolla Junior Club will present their 29th Annual Holiday Bazaar where you will find exquisite handcrafted items. Come hungry, the Junior Club will offer home-made cinnamon rolls, chicken salad, French market sandwiches, turtle bars, pumpkin bars, and more. The Bazaar is held at the Rolla Middle School.
