If golf’s your game, play in the Rodeo Celebrity 4-Man Scramble, Aug. 10, starting at 8 a.m. at the Bootheel Golf Club, 1218 N. Ingram Road in Sikeston. Teams will consist of three players paired with a rodeo celebrity. This is an 18-hole, par 71 course. All proceeds go to the Justin Cowboy Crisis Fund. Rodeo Saturday, Aug. 11, is filled with activities. The rodeo parade starts things off at 10 a.m. The Parade ends in Historic Downtown Sikeston where the Cowboy Up! Arts Festival is held. While there, meet the rodeo clowns, enjoy live music, arts, crafts, food concessions, pony rides, petting zoo, and special exhibits from the Bootheel Children’s Museum and Southeast Explorer Mobile Museum. There’s even a BBQ cook-off! These activities, plus a number of specialty, antique and collectible shops await in Downtown Sikeston.
